 This is an Apprenticeship vacancy. Working within a team, this Apprenticeship has full funding available for candidates aged between 16 -18 years old and the vacancy is exempt from the National Minimum Wage. The job role will be to share with other care staff, in meeting the personal care needs of residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence and to help in the general day to day activities of the home. Care provided by auxiliaries is expected to include care that would reasonably be given by members of the residents’ own family and is not expected to include tasks that would normally by expected to be undertaken by a trained nurse. It will provide the underpinning Knowledge to gain an Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care Level 2, in paid employment.
